Alok Kumar Das is a dedicated and well-organized bakery professional with a strong commitment to excellence and quality. Sales Specialist – Grand Mills (Agthia Group) (12/2016 – 04/2017, Dubai, UAE)

In this role, Alok served as a bakery Technical Specialist supporting the sales team. His responsibilities included conducting trials at customer sites to ensure product acceptance, addressing quality assurance issues at customer bakeries, supporting sales planning and opportunity identification, providing training for customer bakers, and collaborating with various channels, such as QSR, in-store, and industrial bakeries.

Demonstrator – Seville Products LLC (IFFCO Ingredients) (2012 – 2016, Dubai, UAE) and (2018 – 2022, Dubai, UAE)

Alok played a vital role as a demonstrator in Seville Products, working closely with the commercial team to grow and develop sales opportunities. He offered technical advice and solutions to bakery customers, ensuring their needs were met by leveraging the company’s expert support teams in R&D and QA. He acted as a liaison between customers and internal QA and operations teams, fostering strong relationships and meeting specific customer requirements. Alok also provided internal training to the sales team.

Bakery Supervisor – Lulu Hypermarket, Al Ajman, (EMKE) (01/2006 – 01/2007, Dubai, UAE)

As a bakery supervisor, Alok managed the entire bakery operation, including ensuring product availability, quality control, ordering ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, managing staff schedules, and meeting daily production targets. He supervised a team of three supervisors and 38 staff members, including counter staff. Alok also took on responsibilities such as training new staff and conducting regular meetings with the team and store managers.

Trainee Confectioner/Baker – Hot Bread, Chennai, India (01/1999 – 01/2000)

At the beginning of his career, Alok worked as a trainee confectioner and baker, learning the fundamentals of baking, including preparing ingredients, shaping dough, setting oven temperatures, and applying glazes and toppings.
